Welcome to my regular Friday song/tune day, ladies and gentlemen, where I pick a piece of music that reflects my mood or the times, to share with you. But first, a poem.

In Your Likeness
What do you see when you look into your soul?
Bloodshed, torture and depravity?
Is this your version of humanity?
Not fit unless made in your likeness.

Today I’ve chosen Pan’s Labyrinth Lullaby, composed by Javier Navarrete for Guillermo del Toro’s film.

Take care, everyone.
Kind Regards.

  1. Haven’t been reading blogs lately, but I’m so glad I logged on to this one, Tracey. Beautiful piece of music. So haunting and yet relaxing at the same time. 🙂

P.S. My severe headaches are much better since I cut down the computer time, especially scanning my photo archives and reading.

      1. I allow myself 2-3 blog ‘drop-ins’ per week, Tracey. I suspect part of the trouble is my 27″ iMac screen is still too high (on my new little desk), hence trying to read with my glasses on the end of my nose and leaning my head back too far. I’m exploring connecting my keyboard and mouse to my tiny 11″ Mac Air tonight, so I can use my laptop a bit more. Normally, I only use this tiny laptop for hospital stays as I find the keypad too hard to use. I have permanent headaches 365 days per year, but they’re getting much worse.

    1. Martha, I have found that I can’t access some YouTube videos via my phone or IPad. My computer is Windows.
And thank you. I’m sure I’ve written a very similar poem before. All the poems kind of blend into one another and I don’t have the luxury of comparing them.
