When you are 13.
It has been such a pleasure growing old and deaf with this girl. Ama sleeps a lot these days but she always gets up very early for breakfast.
13 remarkable years. She still chases rabbits. In her dreams.

Thank you. Is Ophelia still with you? Hate to ask but I have missed a lot of poems.

Yes, Ophelia is still here. She will be 14 in December. Life has slowed down, but she still lets those squirrels know who’s boss!

Nothing like the valor and loyalty of a good dog. Many more rabbit dreams, Ama.

They certainly have a lot of character. How is young Finn, Ann?

He’s fine! He’s about 7 now, but already has a lot of grey hair so he looks older. But he’s still going strong!

My other dogs are feeling left out. They didn’t get a birthday tribute.
