Raining cats and dogs.
I take every drop of rain I can get at the moment. We are expecting dry times and hot weather ahead due to the influence of an expected super El Nino. My dogs however, take each day as it comes.
Fynn is not a happy chappy when it rains. Why “go” outside when it rains when the hall wall is a perfectly suitable alternative? He’s so precious. Did I tell you the story of how we had to rush him to the vet earlier this year because he drank too much and nearly died of water toxicity? Clearly, drinking water is not a problem, but standing in it is.

Makea, on the other hand, loves to chill in the rain. She also loves to come inside and rub herself dry on the lounge chair. She’s so precious.

Ama fares well. She is perky despite some arthritis and continues to surprise us. The other day I glanced out the window at a man walking his dog past the house. Dogs have a sixth sense about how to embarrass their owners. His dog chose that moment to crap on my garden verge. The poor man looked toward the window and saw that I had observed this indiscretion. So he signalled to me for a bag so he could clean it up. That was nice of him. As I opened the door to pass him the bag, Ama flew past me and attacked his dog. She moved fast for an old girl. I don’t know who was more embarrassed. I’m so precious. Ama is a little cow.

Take care, everyone, and remember that life is precious.
Kind Regards.
Tracy.
Yes it is and so are your dogs (and you).

Imagine that bloke wandering around without dog poo bags. That is disgusting. Oh my poor aged arthritic dog attacked you. Serves you right for being thoughtless I say

It was definitely awkward. Maybe the embarrassment factor will lead him to check the bag situation before he takes his dog out next time. He seemed quite nice so I felt bad for him.

Yes, that would have been a good lesson for him.

I thought the same thing Brian said about no poo bags on your dog walk. For shame, Mister! And he looked and saw you at the window. Busted big time! Your little precious ones are adorable, Tracy. Go get ’em, Ama. You tickle me. ❤️

I felt bad for that fellow, Lois. He definitely had a guilty conscience which is a pleasant change these days. Ama is a great dog. She is always strategising to outfox the rest of the gang.

Thanks for the chuckle this morning Tracy! Dogs, and their personalities, are important family members. I loved all the personalities of your canine children. I carry poo bags in a little pouch that attaches to the leash. That man had no excuse!

He was definitely a bit slack, Anne, and he knew that. I felt a little sorry for him. I often see unused bags that people have accidentally dropped. It is the habitual offenders that really annoy me. Your system sounds really good. It certainly reduces the number of dropped bags.

Your sweeties are sweet! I too carry bags in my pockets, but sometimes I swich jacket with the weather and end up without a bag…not fun. Fortunately I almost always walk in the forest, so there is no problem.

Yes, not such a problem when there is only you and your dog.
