It took me a minute to sort out the image. What a great optical illusion it presents — unless bird #1 truly is allowing bird #2 to stand on its head. LikeLiked by 1 person
Just an optical illusion. But the ibis must have been close to the cormorant for me to get them both in focus. ๐ LikeLiked by 1 person
This is amazing as a capture, and as an optical illusion. You? Or your TL? Congratulations to the photographer. LikeLiked by 1 person

๐ Just a fluke shot with the ibis and the cormorant, Lois. My photo. Those awkward mishaps that turn out well. LikeLiked by 1 person
Just a fluke, Anne. Didn’t even know I had snapped that until I put the photos on my computer. ๐ LikeLiked by 1 person
Good one Tracy, a bit of a giggle for the morning. Don’t Cormorants look grumpy a lot of the time ๐ LikeLiked by 1 person
I didn’t even know I had snapped it, Martha. I might have been cursing the camera at the time. ๐ LikeLiked by 1 person
Amazing. What great shots. I like the bird in the car in your header as much as the cormorant and ibis in this post. LikeLiked by 1 person
The first one is a grey shrikethrush, Vicki. It was very cross when its paramour drove away. ๐ LikeLike

That makes it even better. Sometime when I photograph my garden flowers a tiny little hover fly or bee will show up and give me a nice surprise. LikeLiked by 1 person
