  3. Amazing photo. Tidy is over-rated. My nextdoor neighbors are very tidy. It’s kind of scary. I think, “wow, they’re spending their lives taking care of and accumulating stuff.” In general, I’m not tidy, just about the stuff I care a lot about.

    1. I love this time of year, Martha. It has been a bit hot for winter but the spring winds have not kicked in yet. Some take tidiness to extremes, and messiness too for that matter. Unfortunately the garden shed has been incorporated into the dining room. It is spooky in our shed. It makes noises. There was a rat fight the other day! Hence, escaping to the nature reserve is a much better option. My TL and I will have to clear out the shed.

      1. I love this time of year, too, though it’s the opposite. E is heading to Australia next month to visit her family. She is incredibly excited. It’s beautiful. I think you need a Jack Russell or a large, hungry cat. 😉

      2. How exciting for E! She will be getting extra Vitamin D this year and it must be a long time now since she has seen her Aussie rels.
        I have contemplated letting Fynn loose under the house, but the rodents would just leap up into the wall cavity. I would definitely have no internet cable left after he was finished. I heard a cat screech a few nights ago. Didn’t sound like there was another cat involved so maybe we are getting a bit of help or it put its paw in a rat trap.

  8. Being a wee bit OCD, I have trouble functioning when things aren’t tidy. My memory is so bad that if I’m not tidy, I can’t remember where I put stuff. I mean ordinary stuff.

    Having said that, everyone is entitled to live the way they want (unless it has a direct adverse effect on those living around them or generates a health problem for themself).

    Having exchanged my 2 1/2 week old new computer for another one on Monday as the local computer technician together with an Apple Support team member couldn’t make it work (let alone me), I can finally put away everything that’s been laying on the floor. Hurray. I’ll soon be back to tidiness.

    I put the final computer setting changes in place yesterday, so I’m FINALLY able to comment on ALL blogs and reactivate my own blog………I think. 🙂

    The Purple Coral Pea is a blaze of colour in my local council landscaping. Interesting how some flowers are just opening and others are in nearly full bloom. I suspect this plant is good in poor soil and likes a bit of shade?

    1. Hooray, finally some good news about your computer situation, Vicki.
      My friend’s north facing hardenbergia is in full bloom, but my own and other plants with less sun are not yet flowering. I think they do like a bit of tree cover, or to scramble over rocks, because they are sensitive to frost. Fortunately we have had a couple of decent frosts this year, but still not enough.
      PS. I can never find anything when I have a thorough declutter. 🙂
