Day 24 — Share Your Music: 30 Days, 30 Songs
An inspiration for many. Gone too soon (like many talented artists before and after her). This is for all the Patsy Cline fans out there.
Sing along with me.
The incredibly talented Sarah of Art Expedition is hosting 30 Days, 30 Songs for the month of June. You can see her latest post here. There are still a few days left to join in the challenge. I am also joining in with the Ragtag Daily Prompt — Ephemeral.
Kind Regards.
Tracy
A classic. Definitely gone too soon…..

It is hard to believe she was only 30. Just a baby really.

She had such an amazing voice, and it seems like she was a very strong woman who took control of her career. A terrible loss; she was so young.

She didn’t seem very happy to me, but she endured. For a short while at least.

She was – talented and so young. Many female Australian singers owe a lot to her.

Another wonderful artist I haven’t heard of before but wish I had! I don’t know if that’s weird but she reminds me a lot of Elvis, like a female version of him, her voice was just that good. How terrible that she died this young. 😯

If you get a chance you should watch the Jessica Lange “Sweet Dreams” movie. That is how I was introduced to Patsy Cline. Yes, a lot like Elvis.

Just put it on the list – thanks for the recommendation, Tracy! 😀

I used to hear this song because my mom loved Patsy Cline. She pours her soul into her music. Did you come by her music via your grandmother? I’m not trying to insult anyone, but you’re much younger than I am.

I went to see the Jessica Lange movie “Sweet Dreams” with my mum. Then I picked up an album in a bargain bin, then got a CD, and the rest is history. 🙂
