Welcome to my regular Friday song/tune day, ladies and gentlemen, where I pick a piece of music that reflects my mood or the times, to share with you.
In the national parliament of Australia, much of the debate that the public gets to see appears to be focussed purely on political point scoring. Often people who are the subject of this political point scoring don’t get to explain themselves before the shouty ones pile on them (also known as bullying). Christine Holgate, ex-CEO of Australia Post, and the many Aussies restricted from returning home from overseas, have being saying exactly that recently. Next, those same shouty people will be demanding banks and financial institutions invest in fossil fuel projects. Crazy, right?
Anyway, my song choice for today is from Australian singer/songwriter, Thelma Plum. It is called “Don’t Let A Good Girl Down”. Enjoy.
Isn’t she great?
