My version of note-taking on my Kindle. Since these are someone else’s words, it would be inappropriate not to mention the name of the book and the author. The book is The Sweet Hills of Florence by Jan Wallace Dickinson. I will have more to say about this book later. Why not read it and join in the conversation.
Brian at Bushboy’s World had the fun idea of posting our last photo of each month, without editing or explanation.
The rules are simple:
1. Post the last photo on your SD card and/or last photo on your phone for the 30th November.
2. No editing – who cares if it is out of focus, not framed as you would like or the subject matter didn’t cooperate.
3. You don’t have to have any explanations, just the photo will do
4. Create a Pingback to Brian’s post or link in the comments
5. Tag “The Last Photo”
Good idea. So I guess a Kindle you can only read no other functions other than pick, open, read, bookmark, read, finish, give the book to an op-shop, get another book and start again.

I may read it, but then again my To Be Read list is so long that it’s beyond unmanageable.- I’ve just checked Plus it’s not in my local library – and I don’t do Kindle. When I’ve read your discussion -let’s see.

It is excellent. If you check on Goodreads, it should tell you where else you can get it. It was in my to be read pile for two years, Margaret. Now’s the time to read it. You will see why.

I haven’t heard of this one before but am going to look into it! Currently reading all books I have at home and haven’t had the time to read yet because our libraries are closed again. One’s The Swan Thieves by Elizabeth Kostova and the other’s Foucault’s Pendulum by Umberto Eco. Have you read any of these? If not I think you might especially like the first one.

Jan Wallace Dickinson is Australian and her publishers are a small company so it might not be available at uour library. Su couldn’t find a copy at her library so an e-version might be your only option. I am glad I read it.
