A simple poem to commemorate a beautiful rose and a month of contrasts.
A Simple Rose
in fading light
gossamer petals delight
ethereal bloom
gone on the morrow
fate and folklore entwined
Kind Regards.

A true treatise on the beauty of simplicity Tracy. Now for the big question….did you spritz the rose?😊 Yes or no, it is glorious.

Thank you, Tina. No, I didn’t spritz the rose. We had been having rain showers on and off all day. But I did up the contrast slightly because the photo was so dark and because I felt that it fit with a month of contrasts. The rain drops popping out like diamonds were a pleasant surprise. My roses have been true friends over the last six months. 🙂

Everything about this rose is gorgeous, Tracy. The deep fuchsia color, the sweep of the large central petal, the gems of water droplets on the outer petals. A bridal bouquet on a stem, and a perfect poem to accompany.
