This is my response to the Ragtag Daily Prompt — Moustache. Well, it’s not my work. It is a song from one of my favourite folkie teams, The April Maze.
I’ve included a link above to their website because they have albums that you can actually buy. Give it up for The April Maze, ladies and gentlemen.
Kind Regards.
Tracy.
I love all the moustaches!

Well, there was the time when Marcy drove to the disco already so drunk that she just parked the car in the middle of the street. Luckily, no one towed it and it was easy to find later when they left. 😀

Haha.
That reminds me of another story, but I’m afraid we weren’t having much fun at the time.

Sometimes it was hard to know if Marcy and Paul were having fun. I think that night they got thrown out of the disco.

Beards are great. Have you heard “Home of the Brave,” by The Nails? It’s on YouTube.

I always want to comb through a beard when I get close enough to one. 😂
I don’t know that song or group. Thank you for the tip. I enjoy your suggestions.

When you get time to listen to listen to “Home of the Brave” I hope you hear a gem from the 1980s.

Giving it up for The April Maze! What a fun song. I wonder if the green dress the young woman is wearing is vintage. My mother made me a dress with the same daisy chain edging when I was in the ninth grade.

They both wear vintage, Liz. It’s their signature style. Good spotting. 🙂

I loved the touch of the fake moustaches, especially that guy with one on top of his beard.

The mo is very misunderstood. It is really very friendly. 🙂

I enjoyed this – the guy with the guitar looks rather like George Harrison circa 1968! I love his shirt too!
Whilst I like my beard (and I only grew it quite recently at 50 – I should have done it years earlier) I have never seen the point of moustaches – they seem like a half-arsed effort at a beard to me.

I think the retro style is part of the act, Darren. Or maybe it is more than an act. Maybe it is their regular style for this lovely couple. I’m growing to appreciate the mo and the beard. You run the risk of some woman wanting to stroke it though. Oh dear, perhaps I should have kept that to myself …

Seven year old Esther who is the daughter of my wife’s employers is fascinated by the beard as she knows no other blokes that have one! Other ladies seem to be able to resist.
