Just in case anyone is wondering, I’m fine. I have been busy mosaicing. Nothing to show yet because I’ve been busy ripping up newly laid tiles left, right and centre for no good reason. Well, for the reason that my blood glucose was low at the time, and that’s what I do then. I’ve got new tech — a continuous blood glucose monitor (CGM), but it seems not to know when I’m hypo and when I’m ‘in the [mosaicing] zone’ which I am so rarely, I tend not to notice either. Except for the tile-ripping-up. That’s a good sign. Anyway, that’s life.
I’ve just read a couple of blogs while my phone, with CGM, charges. One blog in particular, brought to mind a song. It is one I learnt with my most favourite choir (RIP). So I thought I would share it with you. Sing along if you know it.
Anyway, back to it. But first, coffee.
Kind Regards.
Tracy

Had a much better day, Lois. All tiles stayed stuck today. 🙂 I enjoyed the coffee too.

Good to know you are fine. Was about to enquire but then your comment on my post yesterday was reassuring. Can’t wait for the mosaic when it’s complete!
And thanks for the song!

Welcome, Punam. The mosaic is coming along nicely, I think. Don’t quote me on that though. 🙂

Tile ripping – I think that’s better than bodice ripping. Stay as healthy as you can – that’s the most important thing, Tracy.

It’s been a learning curve over the past month, Sharon, but a goodish one. 🙂 I hope your house repairs are coming along without too many headaches?

Headaches – the word cannot encompass. Our house has been surprising us with mess after mess, all of them expensive. But I have decent health and good friends, and a sweet hubby, and amazing sons and daughters-in-law, and the four most incredible grandchildren in the world. What’s there to complain about?
The more I age – and I’ve been doing that faster and faster – the more I realize that all of life is a learning curve. I’m hanging on for the ride.

Well now that you mentioned it, I listened to it this morning. 😉 I hadn’t heard it before. I need some of that bluebird happiness. It is a great singalong song.

What a lovely song, Tracy! I’m happy to hear that you’re busy mosaicing! But try not rip out too many tiles, will ya? Otherwise it will take forever to be finished and I can’t wait to see it! 😉 Take care of yourself and that blood glucose, ok?

I think the ripping paid off, Sarah. 🙂

Nothing like a good tile ripping! 🙂 Does that rabbit need a panadol?
