Day 26 — Share Your Music:  30 Days, 30 Songs

This music challenge is getting so difficult.  It is a case of which of all my favourite pieces will I leave out.  Does this mean that I love the ones I omit any less?  No, of course not. So my choice for Day 26 is Joaquín Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez.  Maybe it will be new to some of my readers.  I’ve chosen the slow movement again.  I don’t have to be original.

Enjoy.

The incredibly talented Sarah of Art Expedition is hosting 30 Days, 30 Songs for the month of June.  You can see her latest post here.  There are still a few days left to join in the challenge.

Kind Regards.
Tracy.

  1. Oh, I love this concierto so much, Tracy! No originality needed when the alreay-there is so good. 😊 As it happens this accompanies my little siesta right now perfectly. 😉 Can you imagine listening to this, sitting on a wall of the Alhambra in Granada? It must be perfect. Coincidentally I’m currently reading a book that takes partly place in Southern Spain and Barcelona where a young girl lives her dream of becoming a Flamenco star (The Moon Sister by Lucinda Riley). 😊

  2. Spanish guitar, so incredibly gorgeous. Rodrigo is an amazing musician but so is the entire orchestra. This song (“song” is a slight word for this experience) is the one I’ll carry in my head all day, so thank you for imprinting something beautiful.
