This is my response to the Ragtag Daily Prompt — Fluffy.

I promised myself I would cut back to one post a week.  The weather is warming up so I need to catch up on some of my art projects.  But I couldn’t resist this Ragtag Prompt as it is my dog’s nickname.  So without further ado, here is my favourite Fluffy.

Fluffy’s other name is Makea.  Makea means sweet in Finnish.  Fluffy is a Finnish Lapphund (Suomenlapinkoira).  The breed has its origins as a reindeer herder of the Sami people.

      1. Hmmm…I can be boisterous and rowdy. We’re pretty similar, this dog and me. She’s often reserved, thoughtful and solitary, but with people she really likes — or playing or going on a hike — she’s pretty rowdy. 🙂

    1. Yes, she does. The Finnish Lapphund are one of only a couple of breeds allowed to remain outside during winter in Finland. Of course, they would prefer to be inside with their family. So she finds it quite hot in Australia. When she was a puppy she would race around outside but only as far as the shadows extended. It does mean I have to get up early in the morning to walk her during summer.
