This is my response to the Ragtag Daily Prompt — Encircle.
The Womb. The GREAT MOTHER. The jewel in the crown. This place. Our world.
Photo courtesy of my son who took this shot while on a road trip with his father and brother. I’ve been to this place. This photo has not been enhanced in any way; no cropping of discarded plastic or rubbish out of this photo, nothing. And so it symbolises to me all that is possible.
Regards
Tracy
Looks incredibly peaceful.

It is. It is calling me back, but I fear that it may have changed since I was last there.

Oh, I hope it hasn’t changed. It looks like a lovely serene place to be.

Perhaps I should go south rather than north for my holiday next year. We’ll see.

Beautiful to see. Such unspoiled places are declining. On the West Coast of Canada a great deal of flotsam and jetsam arrives on currents emanating from the Eastern Pacific. Some of it was tsunami carried.

Unfortunately the ocean has become the receptacle for much of our waste.

Thank you, Jane. The photo was taken by my twitcher so he was most likely focusing on the gulls. 🙂

Not been there. I thought it may have been Tasmania.

Lovely photo, and how wonderful to find a place free of humanity’s grubby thumb-print. Hope it is still unspoiled when you get back there 🙂
