WordPress Daily PromptΒ –Β Dim
Today the world felt a bit dim
Not outside but within
A sure sign of doing too much
So I ventured outside and sat
With coffee cup and wriggly pup
The sun it did shine
and dew drops they did sparkle
And thereupon we had a visitation
A flock of small birds, silver-eyes or perhaps thornbill
Four wattlebirds flew by
Calling kack kack
The dogs they did let me know
And suddenly the world turned a different hue
Greens and pinks, reds and blues
A reminder to tend my little patch
But first just sit a bit and relax.
i love this π

Thank; you, Judy. Just one of….. π
I thought of you the other day when I was making colour choices for a piece of art on which I am currently working. There is maybe a little mexican influence. Anyway, it will be ready in a few days time, but I am liking it so far.

I think it is. But I think that about most parts of the country. It has been so incredibly dry here but we’ve just had a deluge of rain so that has freshened everything up. And we get lots of birds visiting us in our garden which I enjoy.

I was just in the garden. We like to plant native plants, as well as the exotics, to entice the birds in. π

I love dahlias, but sadly they do not like our humidity so I love seeing photos of them

Your post makes me long for upcoming Spring days when I, too, can sit outside and once again enjoy nature (without freezing my tushy off). π

Not long now for you. I’ve noticed the light changing here. It is still hot, but the mornings are cooler. π

The days are much longer now and the daffodils are blooming. It’s so strange to think how we’re entering Spring and you’re entering Fall. A world apart.

You’ll have to post lots of Spring and Summer photos for me so that I can live vicariously. It’s mostly just grey here in Winter. π
